Work with me.
You built the team. I build what holds it up.
You didn’t set out to manage people; you set out to build something that matters. Maybe you recruited them, maybe you inherited them, or maybe they arrived alongside a board, a grant portfolio, and the vague assumption that “someone” was handling HR (it’s you).
Unfortunately, a team usually doesn’t run forward in a straight line. It grows like a climbing plant: it takes the shape of whatever structure it finds. Build the trellis on purpose and you stop being the thing it leans on. You get a well-trained bougainvillea, growing up instead of out.
Skip the trellis and it still grows, just sideways and tangled. Everyone tells you this is normal, while your people wither on the vine.
I build latticework: the way your team is structured, the incentives that train everyone’s growth in the same direction, and the part of your company that is hardest to see and most expensive to skip. Every “t” crossed before one of them costs you. Together, we find the levers that bolster trust and clarity while reducing friction for your employees.
You’re probably in one of three places:
Build. You’re making your first hires, or reimagining the team structure you already have, and you want to do it right the first time because you’ve heard what “the second time” costs.
What it sounds like: “Do we need real timesheets? We all trust each other.”
Fix. Something broke. Or you just found out it’s been broken since 2019, and the exposure has commas in it. Now you’re wondering, what else am I missing?
What it sounds like: “He’s a 1099. Should he be using our email domain and coming to our weekly standups?”
Run. You don’t need someone full-time. You need someone who’s built this before, a few hours at a time.
What it sounds like: “Our operations manager is about to pull her hair out, but we aren't big enough for a CPO.”
Who you’re working with:
I’m Lauren. I spent nearly a decade as a litigator, defending companies and suing them, so I know exactly what the people side looks like when it ends up in court. Then I ran a nonprofit legal program, tripled its capacity in under a year, and discovered I’d rather build a team than take one apart in a deposition. Most of my clients are mission driven organizations, boutique professional services businesses, and founders in beauty and wellness (a personal interest as much as a professional one).
InTriplicate is a nod to that paperwork you’ve been avoiding and those conversations you’ve been ruminating over. That’s on purpose. The infrastructure nobody wants to deal with is the lattice everything else grows on, and somebody has to love it. That’s me.
Think we might be a fit?
Tell me what’s going on. I read every submission myself, and if it looks like something I can help with, I’ll reach out.
One flat fee with a clear scope. Nothing open-ended, no surprises.
Not sure which one you are? That’s fine. Sorting that out is where we start.
“I met Lauren while I was running my CPG business and planning my unwinding strategy. Since then, she has been extremely helpful in highlighting areas of potential risk as I plan my next venture, which helped me regain the confidence I lost when my last business closed.”
